this is an official legit contest and im sure badspot was referring to fake ones that tell you "spam this on your forums and you get a chance to win!"

It's not a nice thing, he's asking for us to vote for him in return of nothing, and it's against the rules. I would put it under referral schemes and advertising. He broke two rules in my book.
