In the tsunami you described to me for this specific situation, society never collapsed. Money is still a pretty integral part of life in any civilized part of the world.

Even if the magic god tsunami managed to wipe out civilization itself, I think that money would still be used to an extent.

do you have some kind of mental problem

if a big tsunami hit, do you know how long you'll be without the essentials? neither do i. be safe and bring something that would actually help you. you could be stuck for days, a week even.

I agree with madmole on this. Money isn't a very good survival tool, and in a tsunami situation nobody is going to be wanting to trade for money anyways. Might be different in an apocalypse situation though.
