Disney effectively ruined Club Penguin when they bought it from New Horizon Interactive.

You must pay a dollar a hour to play on their servers.

You must pay 5 cents to take a screenshot.

You need to pay a fee to connect to their servers.

If you place more than 100 bricks in 2 minutes, you get automatically banned from their servers for a week.

If you don't agree to their Terms of Service, you'll be banned from ever playing again.

To host your own server, you must pay $75 and have a signed document from your parent to have it appear on the master server. Then, a moderator from disney will have super admin while you only have admin in the server.

Disney will probably disable console altogether and all add-ons will be rendered useless when they change the add-on format drastically and make the scripting language for addons Lua or something similar.
