A link to the past comes after ocarina of time. In ocarina ganondorf becomes the demon king ganon. If the hero is defeated then the sages seal ganon into the corrupted sacred realm. The sacred realm (where the triforce is during ocarina of time) turns into the dark world. In a link to the past, Ganon hid the triforce within the pyramid of power after his victory over the hero of time all those years ago.

individual games have forget all to do with eachother unless they have the same art style, like majora's mask and ocarina, or wind waker and phantom hourglass

Link between worlds, obviously. Play Ocarina Of Time after that. It isn't as phenomenal as people say, but it still is a masterpiece.

Ocarina of Time 3D. In my opinion, 3D Zeldas are far superior because they can be more in-depth (no pun intended).

I just did some research. Ocarina 3D also comes with master quest! forget yea!
