Well...the 2 need for speeds that they took maps out of were made in 2005 and 2006 so there isn't much they can do about it otherwise it would take ages of work retexturing and remodeling

that, is a really really bad excuse. making games without existing parts is done all the time. it'd be even easier when you already have the ideas set for you
