Very much so :D
Sorry for the cynicism.

I just hope you can find a way to make its position more responsive.

it's not like it's impossible to have a vehicle have a light
I've never seen it, I've always wanted to see it, I've always heard it was impractical, and I've seen a lot of images pretending to do it. My response, by reflex, was PROVE IT OR SO HELP ME

Granted the light doesn't look good (it looks more like a pixie trying to keep ahead of your vehicle), there's no need to think he's just making it up, it's not like it's impossible to have a vehicle have a light

I can remove the flare easily

I think the problem is more that it changes distance with speed and swings around to get in front of you after you've turned.

I feel like if it's possible for lights to stay with fakekilled bricks as perfectly as they do, there must be something that can be done better here. I know it has to be in the right place for the server side but so does the vehicle.

Can't the light be mounted to a jeep node via image data and give that a light and adjust the image's offset?

Can a light be an oval?
not well

mother of god, I should try this

edit:

tried, images don't rotate with the vehicle

What if said image had a bone/joint/node in the DTS of the same name as a node on the jeep? Could the image then be actually attached to the node? Or does that not work?

I'd try this myself, but i'm not sure how to code such a thing, but i was thinking of using the jeep model as reference and making a model that would be a ray of light coming from the headlights that would attach to a certain node on the jeep so it would stay in place when coded to be placed on the node and then have a second image place on the same node that would be only the light so you can change it's offset without changing the offset of the rays of light coming from the headlights

Or instead of one light being in the middle of the two light rays, have two lights adjusted to be at the end of the light rays, but i don't know if a node can have more than one image stuck to it and if having 2-3 images on a single node is a good idea

I could provide a model with that node if Meshiest needs it

This is obviously because it's using MARBLE MAN's flashlight

Well could you use the flash on the sedens police car and make some tweaks and stuff? Because that was possible and it still works.

would be cool if it could have more of this kind of effect

What if they were made like this?

What if they were made like this?

all vehicles that used that would require extra mount points for the lights whether they are images, or aiplayers

wooowwwww
