I am a rock-dwelling dwarf from the city of Dwallas, Dwexas. What is Valve and why should I be interested in them?
Valve is a gaming company that has released a multitude of videogames spanning the time frame of 1990s to modern times, 2013 and forward. They have created such classics like Team Fortress and Half Life.

So what is this thread about? We already have threads about Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike Global Offensive.
That doesn't barely cover the list of games Valve has made - this is about the other games by Valve.

Fun fact: Team Fortress started off as a Quake mod, then was remade as a Half Life mod then made into its own game known as Team Fortress Classic and then finally into TF2.

Also I don't see ricochet on that list.

I'll add that, and I actually knew it was a Quake mod, but it's still very interesting. It's kind of obvious in a way.

I meant nobody I know, the reason I really got into 1.6 is because people around me were playing it. They all played Source, too, but Source was murdered in 2010 and they all went and moved to some other stuffty game anyway, which I refused to buy at the time (and still do) because of its stupid pricepoint and lack of dedicated servers.
