Canada is more uninhabitable. The lower provinces have almost the whole population because of all the permafrost and insanely cold temperatures. Canada doesn't have much to call its own either.

Well pretty much habitable land mass. But I also think Canada's export business isn't that great. I mean sure, fish, syrup, maybe some self sufficient factory goods, but I'd think they would need a lot of importing. Maybe I'm wrong though.

well technically there are a very few number of people that live in upper parts so i would consider it habitable but in itself the definition is debatable
i cant really talk about business up there because honestly i have zero idea, im american :P the same goes for america, though. we do waaaay more importing than exporting
