"youtube.com is now in full screen"

Every time I see this when I click full screen on Youtube, all I can think is, "Oh stuff". It lags like a motherforgeter when that happens and I have to go to task manager to close the damn thing. I can't get it to stop, why the hell did Google implement this in Chrome?
