the game has tons of problems, one of which is that it doesnt let me or any of my other friends play with more then 2 people or it just freezes up at the loading screen

I'm a Mac user too, and have been for as long as I can imagine. Almost all great games are ported for the Mac operating system too. As an indie gamer, I think I'm rather satisfied with the selection. It's better than the choice of games on Linux.
