Basically, it's 12 weapons aligned to 6 elements (fire, earth, water, air, order, and chaos), with a wand (weaker) and a staff (stronger) for each one. Fire, water, and chaos are offensive spells while earth, air, and order are supportive spells, to be used for magic DM's. We seem to have a lack of magical weapons.

If anyone's interested, I can cut out the symbols alone to be used for a particle-aura-thing at the tip of the staves.

Staves:
Staff of the Inferno
Launches a large stream of explosive fire towards enemies, burning them to a crisp.
- Damage: Medium
- Size: Medium
- Spread: Low
- Rate: Slow
- On Hit: Explosion

Staff of Terraforming
Fires green blocks to block off areas or create platforms.
- Damage: Low
- Size: Large
- Spread: None
- Rate: Slow
- On Hit: Create a static shape

Staff of the Tsunami
Starts a huge tidal wave of water!
- Damage: Low
- Size: Large
- Spread: Large
- Rate: Fast
- On Hit: Medium Knockback

Staff of Galeforces
Creates a gust of wind that's invisible or a very transparent yellow.
- Damage: None
- Size: Huge
- Spread: Low
- Rate: Very Fast
- On Hit: Extreme knockback

Staff of Rejuvenation
Heals allies, works on teammates. Impossible to hit yourself or does little healing to yourself.
- Damage: Negative
- Size: Small
- Spread: None
- Rate: Medium
- On Hit: Heals

Staff of Disruption
Just a steady death-laser that tears through bricks.
- Damage: High
- Size: Small
- Spread: None
- Rate: Medium
- On Hit: Fake-kills bricks

Wands:
Fire Wand
Launches fireballs.
- Damage: Medium
- Size: Small
- Spread: High
- Rate: Medium
- On Hit: Small Explosion

Earth Wand
Fires small green chunks that disappear relatively fast.
- Damage: Low
- Size: Medium
- Spread: Low
- Rate: Medium
- On Hit: Create a small static shape

Water Wand
Creates a steady stream of water.
- Damage: Low
- Size: Medium
- Spread: Medium
- Rate: Fast
- On Hit: Slight knockback

Air Wand
Creates a transparent breeze that pushes enemies away.
- Damage: None
- Size: Medium
- Spread: Low
- Rate: Very Fast
- On Hit: High knockback

Order Wand
Heals allies for a little bit.
- Damage: Negative
- Size: Small
- Spread: None
- Rate: Low
- On Hit: Heals

Chaos Wand
A slightly less deathy laser.
- Damage: Medium.
- Size: Small
- Spread: None
- Rate: Medium
- On Hit: Fake-kills small bricks slowly

I don't know, it might not be the best suggestion but I think it would be neat.

Ive been trying to do just this (more or less), for some time now.

"Order" should be renamed to "Transparency".

"Order" and "Chaos" elements?  Whatever happened to the classic "Light" and "Shadow"?

Now that you mention it, that's strange too, because in my experience, Wind Is Green.

White was taken, and lightning is associated with yellow and air :P

On that very same page it said air was traditionally yellow, and green in Asian cultures unless lightning was already yellow.
"Order" and "Chaos" elements?  Whatever happened to the classic "Light" and "Shadow"?
They're primal aspects in Thaumcraft, so... uh... yeah I don't have much reasoning.

Overall though it doesn't matter much.
