Those two links are indeed, irrevocably and without a shred of uncertainty, all that is needed. For your point (Though, I might add, is nonexistent as you have not stated an opinion) is simple. Your point, though again, it has not been stated and thus does not exist, is that my "bumping" is something to be frowned upon.
My response to this thread would be as follows:
I'd like to point to another reply to the thread by Sirlancelot7 which questions the very purpose of the forums. He asked 'Isn't the point of the forums to post?"
This, I believe, is the simple answer to your problem.
If you will please look at the first three topics on the Drama board, you will see they include "If you don't care, don't post", and a title I see as fitting to the theme of my response, "Bad things happening to you is not drama".
I would ask you with no malice - In what way have I wronged you?
In what way have I caused you grief or the tiniest hint of trouble?
Have I hurt your feelings? (13 year old from Texas - Renousim)
It seems to me that no crime has been committed. I believe other rational human beings would agree with me!
And perhaps that is the deep, underlying and terrifying problem - I believe the majority of the people we come into contact with are, in reality, extremely irrational people.
I would say that my actions have helped all of you. As a journalism major (Well read in Media literacy and Media conglomeration/integration) I would argue that the most important purpose of any media such as these forums is to aid in the information seeking process of any individual. I do not believe, in short, that any of us should be content to read what is placed directly in front of us!
You may think you are above the rest. You may think you are well informed. But I would disagree. I think the underlying issue here is that the majority of people are content to be force-fed a stream of entertaining material as opposed to information regarding serious issues.
We need to be active in seeking information. I have only been an aide to the people here. To the attention of the masses, I have brought what I deem important threads.
There is no issue here in regards to my conduct on these forums.
I have not committed a crime.
If you want information, you find it for yourself!
If you don't like what you see on the front page, move your mouse and click next!
If you don't care, don't post.
If you do care, post - But do so with a clearly stated reason.
If something bad happens to you, (13 year-old from Texas) get over it! Move on!
I've paid to be here and I will conduct myself in a manner that I see fit.
If my actions cross that boundary that is the forum rules - Please bring that conduct to light because it is your duty.
If my actions simply bother you, (Irritable 13 year-old from Texas) move on.
This is not a complex issue.
