Also, I'm not trying to say that all special needs kids are bad, I have autism myself.

it makes no sense to do it though. standard schools aren't horribly well equipped for kids with severe disabilities, and in my school there are 3 or so kids who are nonvocal and autistic who run screaming down the hall and disrupt classes in progress by running in through open doors. I'm not saying they don't deserve special accommodations, but these three kids aren't nearly in as controlled or therapeutic of an environment that they need. If they're upset enough to run and scream like that, I feel so bad for them
they do deserve special accommodations, but it all has to do with the school districts not wanting to cut money out of their budget to allow them to get placed in a better school for them or get better classroom accommodations (ie an aid that would help them and help the teacher make sure that they don't get out of hand, etc)

Some special needs kids take the slightest tones too seriously. Kinda like a baby, if you raise your voice any more than normal, they cry or whine. Sometimes they freak the forget out and start to throw stuff. This can also cause other people to get slightly paranoid.

Although some of the kids in this group get special treatment, I think some of it is needed, but they shouldn't get any special perks either. They should just get their needs met instead of forcing some girl to date them.

I don't think that you simply understand. Many special needs kids suffer from Autism, and with Autism you are extra sensitive to hearing and with every other sense. Many Autistic kids hear 20x better than the normal person.

Yes, but there are many different forms of Autism. If you have Aspergers, for example, I don't think you have a special need seeing how people with Aspergers are extremely gifted.

1. being a genius =/= not being disabled

2. aspbergers kids are (generally) really good at / interested in one thing and then not the best at others
not to mention the social interactions part

you can't only think about special needs in terms of education
