People with Aspergers have communication issues, and can't approach people well. I have it. Often times I can't look anyone in the eye, I have trouble staying on-topic, among other things. I also focus on a couple of things which are like obsessions for me: demographics, stock markets, arctic-climatology, anthropology, and real estate.

I'm sorry, but I wouldn't call your inability to talk to people a "Special need". I have a friend who has Aspergers and he overcame his social anxiety.

If he can do it, you probably can too.

Later in another class, he walked right by my test sheet and demanded that I, "leh me see."

You've gotta remember that Aspergers affects different people in different ways. I have it myself and I'm mostly over the social anxiety but that doesn't mean that it's the same for everyone else who has it, not to mention that some people simply lack the willpower that others have in spades.
Some people just can't get over the issues presented to them by Aspergers and need help to get through life, that's just the way it is.

Your argument sounds much less convincing and intelligent when you're shouting the F-bomb every other word.

I have Aspergers Syndrome and ADHD myself. While I must agree that it is quite ridiculous that a girl would get suspended for not going out on a date with a guy (i'll bet it's one of those really liberal schools, the kind that expels students for playing pretend with imaginary hand grenades), I must say that I can't agree with how you worded it and you seem to be implying significant sentiment against kids with special needs.

Dating and relationships doesn't even have anything to do with their school qualifications for "special needs" anyways. I guess the school must have suspended the girl on the bogus reason of "discriminating against kids with autism" or something like that. Just a guess

Is it bad that I agreed with the original post ever so slightly
every single person (save for a select few, like 10% of that) I've met with some kind of disability (autism, down, Parkinson, etc) has this high false sense of pride, often times arrogance, entitlement, hypocritical, etc.
I understand that in some cases they have a lower understanding, but then they just get treated like half-sentient vegetable later on.

That and my little brother is low-level autism, mostly social (unsure of the type)
I'd tie an anchor around his ankle and throw him off a boat if it was legal
then again that may just be because I despise him as a person.

Maybe I just associate disability with my brother and then I'm just an already opinionated starfish.

I just find they get way more than they deserve.

Give them their medicine, give them clothes, an education and everything any normal person would get and give them the most normal life they can without thinking they are an "outcast"
