means someone is in trouble. ive been to the hospital a few times

I haven't been to the hospital for anything really (meaning concerning myself) since a severe allergic reaction when I was four.

The problem is also that people in general do not seem to trust giving teachers guns to defend themselves and the students. Tazers, they might authorize, but in many cases, if that tazer fails to hit, you cannot reload and you will be dead. I don't even know if you can really "reload" a tazer anyway.

The "sit in a room quietly and hide" tactic is literally a sitting deathtrap for innocent kids and teens.

And of course there's plenty of fancy politicians and political bandwagoners out there to distribute their "gun violence" philosophy that guns are evil and dangerous to people- when in reality its the people who are dangerous, not the weapon. That assault rifle didn't pull its own trigger*
*Experimental Japanese robot guns excepted

I know! We should just hire guards for every classroom!

I've been to hospitals before, just not for myself.

The high-school I went to for a little bit just had us stay in our desks during a lock down. Basically they were saying "If he barges into your classroom than you're best bet is to tackle his ass and hope you don't die"

That's actually a better tactic than giving students false hope that they are safe by being sitting ducks.

They should honestly give some weapon that teachers can use to subdue the invader.

A tazer won't kill someone but will allow you to grab the weapon and tie up the invader so you wait until the cops arive.

I think if I were in a lockdown situation I would tell everyone to Solid Snake it and like 2 people in the room would acknowledge the joke and then I'd sit down.

Now that I think about it if a lockdown did happen what class would you guys want to be in the most? I think many would say a room in the science branch or something it's really hard because schools are so different from eachother.

with politics dictating how we are allowed to defend ourselves, i dont think the chances of that happening would be too high

I would want to be in the gymnasium because it usually has an outdoor exit which can be used to escape
That or hide in a maintenance closet- SCP containment breach style

During a lock down at my school I'd rather be at the end of freshman hall, exit right there, never locked or blocked.

This couldn't have happened today, though.

Cause its only 11:00PM
