and we get an announcement "code red" and we have to all sit against the front of the classroom crushed together and the teacher closes all the blinds. There are also door blinds in which he/she closes, because the doors have small windows.

Nowhere, but from personal experience they just put green or red pieces of paper over windows near or on the doors during a lockdown.

I have gone over what I would do in a shooting scenario multiple times.

At least in my old school first period B day, I would break the window that lead to the roof and get onto the roof, then jump. Then I'd run as far as I could.

They have these stuffty magnetic strips used for our doors that keep them from closing. However they keep the doors locked and give the illusion of the door being closed.

It really infuriates me that schools still operate with these procedures for things like that. It's literally the WORST tactic in such a scenario. Only positive benefit is that it slows the gunman down slightly, because he has to break open the door.

I swear, we've never needed Tazer Turrets more than ever.

A gunman knows that kids are in a room anyway because the blinds are closed. They will break the lock and barge in anyway. The best thing to do is to have a tazer in each class where a teacher or multiple qualified students can use.
