It would be awesome to be good at making maps for songs I like but every time I've ever gone back to one I was making I'm just like "this is the worst thing I have ever seen" *delete*

The feeling of sadness when the song you want to play has no beatmap/is just really stuff.
eg. every GITS map I've got :'c
This happened to me and is the reason I'm making a map right now.

I posted my taiko/controller problem on the osu! boards and they think it's because I'm spamming the keys.

I'm terrible with checking timings, but I'm hitting the buttons at about the same rate in both the keyboard and controller examples in my video, right?

And I tried mapping the buttons to keystrokes in Xpadder, which worked perfectly fine and registered every button press. Shouldn't that be a red flag?

EDIT: I hate everything

Nearly lost my combo to take the pic lol.

Nearly lost my combo to take the pic lol.

how the

I just played every song in my library in order to get used to Q/W instead of clicking, and also to delete the stuffty songs buried in there...
Needless to say I haven't slept and I've gotten quite good at using keys now.
(Honestly I feel like I'm better having switched from mouse clicking)

I do better on certain songs with the keyboard/mouse setup. I've SS'd a few songs that I couldn't before.

On the other hand there are some songs that I kept playing until I could do them properly by clicking and now my timing is weird.

omfg I can't

I've only ever deleted maybe 3 songs, 1 for being all taiko and the other 2 for being complete stuff. Apart from them I've kept all the songs I've ever downloaded over the years, even the ones I hate a lot because of all the good stuff you get when you are finally good enough to whoop em.

There is a pain only known to few, the pain of getting all 300s and a single miss.
I can only assume it is about the same pain as losing a child.

Once I got a 100 on the very last note of a song. true story
never been so upset, and still haven't ss'd the song to this day.
it's like a psychological block for me now

ive been thinking about switching from mouse to tablet, and the osu!tablet looked interesting

does anyone have it, and if so, is it good?

It's good.

also my tablet is all over the place and loving up so i dunno what to do
i don't know if you're still having this problem (or if this is even your problem) but i figure i might as well post this to help people maybe running into the issues i had:

my tablet would freak as soon as i moved it and it's because I was using it in "mouse mode" (wacom terms for when you move the pen across the tablet it moves in that direction rather than to that point) and i had a different sens on the game which caused it to infinitely accelerate and basically go crazy (fix: set to pen mode, sensitivity 1.0x)

also i kinda wanna get back into this but i'm afraid of killing my wrist again lol

now i get to spend my whole night practicing HR + DT
and then adding hidden to the equation

fun

Hidden is relatively easy to add in, compared to others. It's only really some hit arangments that will mess you up.
Flashlight on the other hand...

Haven't played much lately, occasionally get on, play a handful of maps, suck at them because I haven't played much, stop playing.
And then the cycle continues.
