Author Topic: Chrome keeps loving me over *SOLVED*  (Read 590 times)

So, the situation is this:

It all started yesterday, It was in the morning, about 2am and I was happily using Chrome to watch research browse the internet, then I decided to sleep, so I  shut down my computer and slept for about 9 hours.

Afer I woke up I start up my computer, log in and give it about a minute to load all the stuff it needs to load.

After this minute, I load up chrome and bam

Chrome just stays on a white screen and lags my computer SOO loving much, the only way I can escape this is by spamming the exit button or using Task manager to close it.

I've waited it out about 2 hours ago for 20 mins whilst I did something else. Came back and it was still the same, laggy and not responding

Anyone got any clues to what this may be?

well seeing as internet explorer doesn't screw you up it looks like it's a problem with chrome only

does your PC have a decent amount of ram (at the very least 2gb)?
try removing chrome entirely (appdata, programdata) and use ccleaner to wipe out any chrome related registry keys then reinstall. (will wipe out any saved passwords, and bookmarks and stuff, use this as absolute last resort)
also, did you install anything recently on chrome?
lastly, run malwarebytes if you haven't already

edit: since you apparently fixed it, don't use my nuclear option

I'm still confused on how It randomly stopped responding and all.

Thank you for your support though :)

You have to wait a minute for it to load everything? Your computer is raped.

It's theoretical, I don't litteraly mean a minute.
