Heroes controls are absolutely terrible. They ruined a perfectly good thing that was in previous games. Sonic teams direction hasn't been great. For example, in Sonic 4, the reason why I really cant like that game is because you just run forward and homing attack other enemies. The past sonic games you would build up momentum from going down a ramp and its like they completely forgot about it and just made a game without those features, same with the second sonic 4. Not only was making episodic releases a bad idea, but in the second game, the team option with tails was way too overdone at parts. Back to sonic heroes, the stages are long as stuff. Same with Bullet-station and the other rail grinding level. The control is probably the worst on its special stages, its insane how bad it is. The game would have been great, but they messed up such a good feature, I also don't understand why back in that era they made all the models so loving shiny. I will never forget the mansion level that dragged on almost as long as Robotnik land from Sonic Unleashed, and I have a huge question about that game. In Sonic Adventure, Dr. Robotnik tried to blow up station square to make his eggmanland. In unleashed, did he manage to? Or was Sonic 06's "reboot" not count that. Even better of a question, how was that story a reboot if at the end, eliese blows out the candle and making the story never happen, how was it a reboot if the story never happened?
Back on topic with Sonic Heroes, why did nobody ever explain Shadows backstory to him?
I might sound like a massive friend, but I've played these games for so long that I know pretty much everything about them.
