Author Topic: DayZ - Standalone game now in steam! $30.00!  (Read 18958 times)

Recently bought this game, I was just wondering if these are some problems which everyone else is also having..
1. There is no loot anywhere.
2. There are no zombies anywhere.
I understand that its Alpha and has a LOT of work to do, but seriously? :'(

1. After a couple of lives played, I put it down to stuff like the town you spawn in or how many players there are on the server. Keep trying laddy
2. Oh believe me, there are zombies. loving zombies that run at you out of no where in the night when you have a torch with the tiniest of ranges.

I really stuff myself more than I have in any other multiplayer game ever

I was playing on an empty server to avoid bandits...
I think the problem lies with the fact that no items re spawned, plus all the zombies were invisible -_-

some ambient noises are forgeted, like a random soda opening, or zombies screeching when theres none to be seen for miles

...Or are there?

Lovin it, but I have real performance issues. I can only get a good framerate on very low settings? I have a Radeon 7770 and I expected much better performance. Far Cry 3 runs great on high settings

Has it been brought up that this zombie game doesn't have a single depiction of zombies on its Steam Store page besides the two in the logo?

It's a bug. Actually rabbits making that noise.

No. I'm not kidding. It's loving rabbits.

yeah ive heard rabits make ungodly terrifying sounds before

oh god the rabits, do i know

scared the forget out of me on an empty, quiet, nighttime only server

if i were to guess its because the focus of this game is and always has been on human interaction in a disaster scenario
the same things would be happening if the game's disaster had been an earthquake or a tsunami

Well that's a joke. If by human interaction you mean shooting anyone who crosses your path then yeah, but otherwise this is a zombie survival game.

They either shoot you or rob you and feed you disinfectant spray. So realistic right?
