I'd like this
/mute name time reason
"Admin has muted noob for 50 minutes "Lolk""

That'd be against add-on rules.

Fine.
SOmeone make it then PM me it.

Why be PTTA (Power to the Admins(ATTP(Abuse to the Players)))

Look , I want something that if a player is being a cigarette , I can ban them from speaking.

CTRL+A+Ban=Done

Somebody just loving make one and PM it to me.

why is it wrong to give admins abilities like mute and such?

I mean, saying that banning or kicking is a lesser punishment is like saying the death penalty is less harsh than a few years in prison.

After being on the receiving end of some of these circumstances (mostly in Wallet's server) I can say quite firmly that I much preferred a few minutes mute to an insta-ban.

Just ban them for a few minutes.  The game's not all that fun if you can't talk anyways.

Done.  :cookieMonster:

I agree with Reactor Worker. I'd rather be muted for chatspam or all-caps or whatever than to be completely removed from the server or banned for a five minutes or permenently banned (Would've been nice of you to just kick me for all-caps Space Guy, but oh well, I guess I really deserved that permaban...)

EDIT: Oh right, nearly forgot. Use /mute Name Time to mute the player, and /unMute Name to unmute them. You only need to specify the first letter of the person's name, unless someone shares that letter, in which case you'd go to two letters, and so on. I haven't included Reason because it's rather pointless when they're still there to listen to you, so you can tell them yourself why they've been muted.

Thank you for making this , ima go test it out :D

I pretty much permaban everyone. If you kindly PM me on the forums and give a reason you'd like to get back into my server, I'll unban you. Several people have already done this, actually. Until you mess up again.

Anyway, I have a "Ignore" script which allows me to type /ignoreName Blockhead1337 and all chat by that person would be ignored. It doesn't work with "odd" chat (Pokeball Master Chat, VerticalHorizon's server, etc) and needs a fix for names with a space (It starts erasing your preferences if you enter a name with a space :cookieMonster:) but functions fine. There's also an /ignoreclan if you hate everyone in a clan or they've made their name " " and clan their name so it's in grey.

I share Space Guy's outlook on banning.  I only have 1 or 2 people permabanned, but I usually ban for 1337 minutes (it amuses me).  I'm especially strict when I'm testing new stuff.  If you spawn vehicles or weapons without permission, ban.  If you hammer me in the face for longer than 5 seconds, ban.  Etc, etc.  I don't care whether you get angry or not, you'll either take a lesson from it or you won't play my server.

The idea here is , if their being a cigarette in chat you can ban them from THAT
