dina has a role that barely has anything to do with the game
man who cares if she's a feminist she's a god damn community manager or whatever not lead game designer and if she spouts silly stuff it doesn't do anything

she stated on her twitter that she is an artist and designer, and that she is designing robots.

oops!!!
how backlogged am i on info!

Jesus, good thing I didn't back this, I was considering doing so but didn't have the money at the time.

I feel pretty bad for the people who did back this, I'm quite curious as to what the outcome will be.

Seriously, I'm frightened.

i'm not really sure what there is to be worried about

worst i see is the video telling me i shouldn't trust her. big whoop, not sure why i was suppose to trust her beforehand
she can design some of the robots, okay, worst case scenario she designs a genderless enemy robot for equality that the director accepts and redesigns to fit his game

community can't get their voices heard because of bans, censorships and whatnot (which is very unlikely, the current bans are from users going overboard)? it's not like this team is looking through every single forum thread for game suggestions. they're using polls and general announcements for feedback, the forum is just a get-together. so far the only thing the community has had a portion of voice in is the sidekick Call.

they have their own vision, the fan feedback (or, one community manager/robot designer) isn't going to drastically alter the core of the game to a completely different result.

chill out

Egh, I dunno. I just have a feeling that things will go sour down the line.

The fact that she can't be trusted is a big deal, for some people.
I actually fear that the goals they reached will possibly be scrapped because of this, but that's just me. (in fact I think many people fear this, since the kickstarter intro)
Also here's a more civil take on the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKHQb380S4M

if a simple designer has the ability to convince the head director to scrap all the goal features he promised to his supporting customers, then there was an issue with this before she was hired

as someone who dropped $20 for the sole reason to play it (because the demo was pretty), i see no reason to think i'll be playing anything other than a 2D side-scrolling Mega Man inspired robot-blasting video game once released.

Eh, maybe I'm being paranoid. I thought more nepotism would be involved.
