Nice job man.

One question, any idea if you have your national license and need to get your state license - do you have to take classes again, or just a few tests for the state license?

Then again, things could be different in Pennsylvania compared to Massachusetts, just curious though.

Thanks so much guys. This class was so difficult and stressful so everyone's support is great. During the test we had to wait a few hours to see our results and let me say I've never been more nervous in my life. But nothing beat the head instructor telling me congrats.

I've always had a passion for emergency services. I love what they do. It is something new all the time and you get to be out there helping people and making a difference everyday. I plan on being both career EMS and fire service so this is a huge step in my path.

The certification is for Pennsylvania. So I can basically be an EMT anywhere in the state. I plan on taking whats called a national registry test in the future. If I pass that I'll be certified to work EMS anywhere in the country.

Oh my, Northampton is like 5 minute bike ride from where I live ;o
If you call 911 for medic within the area of Hellertown/Lower Saucon on the right day I might be responding to the call lol.

Yeah, the weird thing is if you join the military and go into 68 Whiskey, and receive your national license for EMT, you still have to get your state license for some reason.

Are you going to be working for a private or public company?
