My friend got me into CSGO competitive and I got Gold Nova 3 after some tips and training from him. I'm probably more on the skill level of Nova 1 or 2, but we'll see how matchmaking goes.

i got rank 3 in a week or so without even playing all that much
just play 2 or 3 games a day if you can and you'll be rank 3 soon enough
