He should do Nuclear Throne.

Free (limited) tech demo on their site
http://nextcargame.com/

I just realized the name of the thread was "Next GAR game"
Lol

Also, I imagine a GTA game with that engine
I want

I just now watched Nerdcubed's video on it and then saw this topic. Seems cool.

Bugbear has made some really good driving games, like FlatOut.

I'd love to see this when it's finished

Yea I saw the video too, and downloaded the limited demo
It's really nice, I was disappointed with BeamNG because it looked like the exact same crash every time no matter the damage, and also how hard it was to drive.

Next car game was so much better. The driving still isn't perfect (super slidey), but it's better than beam. The camera is kind of annoying too, you can't zoom out on the chase cam and the spherical camera has inverted verticals and is very slow to turn, but I still enjoyed it a whole lot.

Runs silky smooth on my desktop. Very impressive.
Now I'm going to attempt to run it on my laptop, this'll be a true test.

EDIT: I got like 2FPS. That's pretty good.

The graphics are impressive. It sort of reminds me of another new car driving simulator called "BeamNG", which was developed in Torque.

I still have an original copy of the first FlatOut, can't wait for this new one

i loving grew up on flatout and the fact that the devs knew EXACTLY what they were doing in order to let the players have fun in the tech demo is the best news ever
