This was over 3 years ago. Bitdefender is one of the best antivirus you can buy.

AVG Anti-Virus would be your best choice.

Avast is slowly getting kinda crappy with it's constant HEY NEW YEARS SALE GET AVAST PRO MAN IT'S CHEAP SRS popups. You can probable hide them though.

Read title as "Need Onions for a new Antivirus Program".

norton
this

I'd also recommend webroot along with any AV you choose; it's light and a extra layer of security never hurt anyone

Avast Free Version is what I use

If they managed to slip once, they will slip again.

I personally reccomend avast! Free.

You can. Set "Gaming Mode" on or set display time for info popups to 0.

Or you can get the ones that are free and probably same if not better quality lol.

mse combined with malwarebytes

If you have the money for a subscription, I would recommend Norton or Kapersky.

However, I use Comodo Firewall (Comes with a built in scanner and Virtual Sandbox software, and HID), Malware Bytes (Definitive MUSTHAVE), and Microsoft Security Essentials. I have all 3 runninga t the same time and never had any problems with them running at once.

Anyone who recommends Norton automatically loses all credibility. Might as well as suggest McAfee too.
