silver nitrate

stuff i love silver nitrate :D i have heaps of it for "priming jars" i use for wet cell electronic stripping.

i even got a ton of scrap copper nitrate in the garage i dont know what to do with.

ive used colloidal silver for ear infections.
almost yearly.

works way better then antibiotics, and dosnt forget you up long term like antibiotics do.
Pouring it in your ear is probably harmless, but people who take it nasally or orally will get permanent Argyria.

That being said, if it works on your ear infections you probably had some sort of fungal infection that would better be treated by something like Hydrogen Peroxide that you can pick up at a grocery store for $2.

No reason not to, sounds cool.

silver compounds and silver ion parts in certain forms can collect in the body. and dont harm you, but make you turn funny colors.

but colliodal silver is the actual metal. it dosnt have that effect on living things. just the antibiotic aspect silver generally has.
thats kinda debatable how effective it is, not a lot of studies have supported it.
but i use it for certain injuries and infections and its always healed me fine. (cuz im anti-antibiotic drugs, not cuz im weird and try weird stuff)

this sounds like mad science

Idk man, there's been tons of documented cases

There shouldn't be any pharmacological difference between ingesting silver particles by themselves or suspended in a colloid. I wouldn't risk it though, since while silver acts as an antibiotic in vitro, there's no evidence that it does the same in humans.
