Building: first person if needed to aim ghost brick otherwise always third.

Vehicles: third person for everything except planes

DM: Almost always first person. Use third occasionally to get a different view of scene when not in combat.

well to be different than everyone else if i'm using a shotgun and i'm in third person while trying to peek i sometimes stay in third person while i attack
this works well for me ofc because i kick stuff in DMs

I do frequently switch while flying around though, no particular reason.

The reason the default color is black is because no one wants to strain there eyeballs looking at all these random colors and fonts.
The only reason why you use colors and fonts is because you want to stand out from everyone else. You're an attention whore.
