You're just the funniest. Go back to harassing Nal or something.

That should give you the diagonal bit. Enjoy it.

If being a furry is a special interest, then being a Mario fan, Sonic fan, Megaman fan, Whovian, etc. is also a special interest.
Fandoms =/= special interestes, and I think your mind was purely raised on stereotypes.
furry is not a fandom.

furry is not a fandom.
Except it's referred to as a fandom pretty much 90% by both people in it and people who don't even completely understand it.

Weird.

they call it a fandom so it must be true

that if you're a fan of something or a member of a community that means you have a special interest of said thing or community!!!

"furry" isn't a fandom. it's not an art style. it's not a social movement. it's a giant community of losers who bond over their mutual loveual deviancies while shielding each other with a ten-foot-high wall of denial. nobody buys the bullstuff that youre somehow obsessed with the way Star Fox characters are drawn, you don't obsess over random bullstuff like that for no reason.

what's worse is the furries like you who are like "yeah, we're furries, but we're better than those furries who forget dogs and dress in animal costumes"

its a load of horse stuff. you think you and your special little group of furries are somehow unique and you act like youre working hard out there to make furries look good, when everyone still sees you as the generic animal research enthusiasts they know you to be. its a bullstuff claim to try and state that the fandom isnt about research or love with these anthropomorphic monstrosities you create. e621 is a furry site that specializes in furry research and it contains nearly 400,000 images.

four hundred thousand images of animals loving. that is an absolutely huge number when you take into account that "furry" is only the word that the english-speaking sects of self-righteous zoophiles use.

so, vincent, explain to me again how furries are a fandom and not a special interest.

doesn't make it right. pretty sure furry is not a fandom.

there is no show, game, company or whatever called 'furry'.
the brony fandom is a fandom because there is a pony show.
the mario fandom is a fandom because there are mario games
etc

what are you a 'fan' of? furries are just a group that draws/relates to humanized animals. it's like calling that DERP trolling ddos group a fandom.

-snip-
furries are technically fans of animals or animal-like characters, prime examples being most disney characters and the like. therefore it can be considered a fandom.
-really long boring angry rant-
I love how you only judge furries by their research sites or the bad eggs in the group. As I said before, it's like judging all burgers worldwide by only eating burgers at McDonalds.

also, as a fun fact~ there's a safe for work version of e621 called e926, so go there instead.

look at that disturbing image stocking posted a page or two ago, then report back to me. is that art based off disney animals? no.

they call it a fandom so it must be true
Well, when you want to look at it in a grouping way.
Furry Fandom - About 60% - People who are a general audience to the fandom. Make/ have art. Go to meets. Pretty Normal.
Fur Suiters - 10% - People who are considered a slightly more into it audience. Some are obnoxious about their suits. Many people in this grouping wear their suits too much. 3% of this group actually has fursuit love.
Mature/ research Artists - 20% - Always post on art specific sites made for their art. Pretty alright. Douchy sometimes. Can be really loving weird.
The other 10% are assorted smaller groups of strange people within the furry category. And i even think that i can squeeze bestiality and zoophilia into a .5% grouping. Since you're such a huge fan of it.

The furry fandom is a fandom of anthropomorphism of the animal variety. As referred to in cartoony things like Disney animations, to writing, as well as the early comic that really started a major part of the early fandom; Albedo Anthropomorphics.

It is a fandom, but a wider one that just a single show or source.

There's about 1/4 of the pictures on the safe for work site as there are on the research one. You sick forgets.

this was literally just addressed

Where are the good eggs? I honestly can't think of any besides the occasional SFW drawing you find on Tumblr.

Because people will pay out the ass for research, and that's what 90% of it is. Commissions, all commissions.

Yeah, you're not one of those BAD furries who look at the research, you're one of those GOOD furries who draws the research for money.
