F-Zero Machines

I only recently returned to Blockland with the intentions of making a video series off of my F-Zero story. I made this, along with a few other F-Zero machines (All of which are not completely finished--hence why they have lines going through the bodies).

I guess I liked how I made the Golden Fox look, compared to my past projects! I think this one turned out much better. Since these are solely made for videos, I didn't bother make a roosterpit or anything too detailed--but I still can. So I was wondering if this looks like something I should make into a vehicle add-on.

-and I don't play with shaders on, I had just taken the photo with shaders enabled this time.



The Golden Fox is the yellow machine (Yellow = colorable), the other machines were a bit rushed and require more work.

They are much too round to look really nice in Blockland. :X
Round is okay but only really when executed in the right way.
I hope a modeler comes by who knows what i mean exactly and give you tips on it, but this is just too round in the wrong way.

That's actually why I didn't just go and do it. I can perfectly envision what would look fitting for Blockland--but I agree 100% that these don't fit in well with most Blockland vehicles.

I would advise making them look fitting before making it into an add-on indeed.

I'll try again tonight and post a picture of my new version. I'll try to stay optimistic all the way up to the point where I get positive responses.

Bringing F-zero to Blockland is like eating a bowl of cereal and jacking off before bed.

I praise you finish all the machines.

The excellent news--I certainly have the time to make all 30 machines. (And the ones from my story.)

Just a matter of getting that Blockland appearance perfected...

Before I re-attempt the Golden Fox, I was just wondering--does the Purring Kitten I already have done look more Blockland-like?

I ask merely because this one has no rounded parts.

- oh, and yes. I do plan on adding a roosterpit w/console and chair, and make the windows transparent for these F-Zero machines.

It could use more edges and connected curves. I mean you can add detail it does not have to be super blocky. Hell even the actual models from F-zero X would fit right in with blockland's design.
