As I leave the ground the jet in front of me explodes and I have to roll to the side. I lose my right sidewinder to the ground, a warning as to how low I am.
"We've got vultures, heading NW. Jester and Brig, pull southbound and join me at gridmark Sierra 53 Victor Foxtrot 2-2. I repeat: we have hostiles in a southwestern direction bearing in northwest."
I cruise southward , tailed by my wingmen, and spiral up when we're directly west of the attackers.
I just bullcrapped the whole "Sierra 53 Victor Foxtrot 2-2" and I know nothing about how this part of military planning really works. If somebody is offended by my butchery of military language, feel free to tell me what they would really say.
