I am having this too, it is both fps drop and freeze.

Whenever I chat its like: Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhellllllllllo ooooooooooo.

Go into a server and press ctrl+n

There should be a window in the top right, somewhere in it you'll see "latency" with a number next to it.

That number will be changing rapidly, but
A: is it in the triple digits, quadruple digits, or quintile digits (5)?
B: can you watch it for a while and tell me an approximate average of what it says? (Eg: "about 5100")
