Author Topic: Gun Help  (Read 1510 times)

So recently, I have been firing my father's .44 magnum revolver. There is a slight problem: every time for the tree shots we fired, the loading gate flew open each time. Any way to fix this? The model is a Virginian Dragoon made by Interarms.

I'm sorry, but you're asking us? Why?

I'm sorry, but you're asking us? Why?
Because I have nobody else to ask.

Eh, well I don't think there would be many people here that can help. Just hope for some gun enthusiast to post.

The loading gate latch may not be holding. I've never used nor seen a .44 so I'm taking a blind shot at this.

There is no latch. It's a fixed cylinder design. The loading gate is simply opened and closed without any kind of latching. It didn't come open previously.

When was the last time you cleaned it thoroughly?

I'm sure there's some users around here who are knowledgeable on firearms to help you, sadly I doubt most of us can do much of anything.

If it was made out of lego though, i'm sure most of us could help! Hahaha

When was the last time you cleaned it thoroughly?
Last month, around Christmas. Since then we have only put three rounds through it.

Maybe its just loose, you may have loosened it a bit when cleaning.

info still seems a bit vague. you should investigate the gun more closesly

Well I don't know what to say then. I honestly haven't been shooting for a good year.

here we have tetri the BLARING autist jerking off about /k/ again
i'm friends with treti so it's not flaming you friend

you should probably just search on google because it might be a potential problem with every production model so you might find forum threads about it and the company may have even sent out a recall
