Yeah, you're good.
Actually, one more thing. For survival in your character sheet put in the type of terrain.
Put it in.

The time is about midday, and the sun is high in the sky, casting a radiant light on everything you see. The inside of the evacuation center is clean and white, with linoleum tile floors and plaster walls, and fluorescent lights that are just like new. The waiting room is a large room, an old school cafeteria converted to meet the military's ends. Dozens of people wait here for departure. A desk stands near the exit, and an officer sits behind a computer as he's flanked by two guards. Calls for groups to exit blare over the PA, but none of the groups actually seem to be leaving.

Soon, group J-1, your group, is called up.

I walk up to the officer, and I show him my doctorate degrees that I keep in a mini-binder. "I am Dr. Franc, and I would like to help with any medical aid and medical emergencies aboard the travel. I am of Group J-1."

The PA blares my group name. "Ah." I say.

(Waitin' for the rest of group J-1 i.e. all of you guys)

I follow the doctor looking man up to the officer. "Uh, yeah, I'm in group J-1 too." I stick out my hand to shake the mans hand, "Names Willard."

edit: OOC: I dont know if I've mentioned this, but my character is a shady looking black guy. So use that as you will.

The officer is visibly disturbed. His eyes stare at the desk, and he hesitates for a moment before speaking to you.
"Group J-1... only 2 people out of your group have arrived."
He pauses, then looks up at you.
"Don't worry, most of the groups aren't complete yet. We're not leaving until we have at least 90% of the groups filled."
Right after he finishes his sentence, a phone next to him rings. He picked it up, puts it to his hear, and listens for 10 seconds. He then puts the phone back down, and turns to you. He studies the two people in front of him for a moment, then sighs.
"I know you don't want to be here, but can you two do me a favor?"

I look at the officer, a bit skeptical. "Depends, what would you have me doing?"

"Listen, this is some really serious stuff, don't say this out loud."
He lowers his voice even lower.
"One infected got past the route perimeter into the area we're going to be traveling to. While the line seems to be secure now, just one thing- it could throw the whole thing into disarray."
He puts his head down, and then look back up at you guys.
"I need you guys to kill that thing. We need all of the soldiers we have guarding the perimeter, and I don't have the authority to draw troops off the line to kill the damn monster. I'll give you some supplies to help you deal with it, and when we get this show on the road, I'll put you closer to the front, near the food trucks and security column."

I wake up, ready to meet the officer.
"forget I overslept. Gotta get there quick"
I quickly dress up and rush to the officer, where I see two people are at. I assume they're in my group so I rush there and am there by the end of the sentence.

I lean on my cane, and nod at the officer. "I'd be fine doing this for you, if you could do a bit more for me." I think for a bit, "How much can you do for me?"

"I- I could give you priority in the food and water queue. You'd be first in line..."
He leans back and puts his hand to his face.
"Listen, that and putting you closer to the front is all I can do. Just step outside, someone will be waiting for you with a backpack, and he'll tell you where we think the infected is. Just- just come back when you're done."

(OOC): Lol did you guys notice me at all?

"Mr. Officer, sorry for being late. My group is J-1". "The names Derrel Lark".

The officer notices you. He takes a quick glance at you and turns back to the man with the cane.
"You're from his group too? Good. You can go with him."

"Wait what? Go where? Did I miss something?"

"I can do this for you, but with what he is getting, I want to be lead doctor and handle all of the medical supplies." I smirk, "Trust me, I have a PhD in General and Trauma surgeries, and a major in first aid."

I lay down my current backpack beside the desk and go outside, ahead of the group. I grab the backpack. "Guys, let's go."

OP what does it contain?
