I take a moment to observe the building, looking for possible entrances in.
The building's windows are mostly shuttered up, however there's on window that isn't shuttered, but the shades have been pulled down, preventing you from looking in.

Out back, there are several empty dumpsters and trash cans, the contents long picked clean. There's a ladder to the roof.

The time is 5 pm, and the sun is starting to set.
I get out of the truck and try to break the hood off
The hood opens without a hitch. The engine is wrecked, the oil tank is empty, and the wires are all discombobulated. There's no hope for this Ford.

Honestly not everything is a roll. It's just stuff like loot and combat that needs a roll

"Everyone ready?" I remember something, "Remember, if this doesn't lure it out, it makes it know we are here."

"Hurry up, I don't want to be here in the dark with that thing."

"Wait before you shoot!" I interject, "Theres a ladder to the roof over there. Do you want me to climb up there first? I could always ambush the forgeter once he comes out."

"What, you are going to jump about 12 feet and land on an angry, wicked forgeter with what, a walking stick?" I look at Willard, half-serious. "This rifle will probably piss him off, though, and at close range, do some damage."

(It's a .22LR rifle you dumb stuff)

You couldn't kill a bottle with that thing

"Its still worth a try. But okay." I pull out my deck of cards and shuffle them.

I put the trail mix in my pocket and sit down.

I put my knife back and wait for the next move.

So the rifle is a piece of stuff, really?

Please confirm.

My informative look up didn't turn up anything about non-lethality though.

Excuse me for knowing nothing about cartridges.

It's still dangerous.
