Pass' DRPG Server

it is coming back. the BAO thing was designed as a PRPG combat test server, the difference being i'm in control of the main story and it's less of a sandbox. after the new TDM is done, i plan to work on BAO. if there is no interest, I will go directly to PRPG.

new prpg should be good, i came up with some neat elements that encourage crews working together and encourage non pirates to actually be a part of a town.

I don't even know what BAO is. I heard it was something pretty good but I don't even know a single detail of it.

block art online was p cool when it was up, it was more like a rad combat mmo like heed said. weapons and fighting styles from all sorts of realms made up the majority of customization...you could imbune your weapon with different elements, craft armor, participate in world events or hone your skills with pvp.

I want to pay this, but I don't want to if there is going to be a server reset soon.  Can you inform us if/when the reset will be?  And if it will be a thing that happens more then once?

well, after we finish building the new map, we are going to host it. accounts will not be reset, unless there are people that want it reset if they had already reached a high level in the last map. accounts will get reset every time we make a new map (except this time) or each time that the player count drops very low on average.

it seems like you all have something against DRPG.

some people like grinding. don't understand why you have to bash it just cause you don't like it.

lol, nobody likes grinding. they do it to get to something that is actually fun later. by your logic if I made an mmorpg and all you did was grind with no reward this would attract a playerbase.

at least in drpg (if you would read the OP) you can build your own property and you can have a reward of grinding by getting better weapons/tools/armor.
