Author Topic: Pass' DRPG Server  (Read 12655 times)

What I would like to see, are skills and perks that will go toward grinding plastic. You should also implement an event system to allow a little sugar coat to make people happy, like, a pirate raid on this group, or a boost in plastic income to this group.

You should also make grinding more difficult than doing mousefire(1); and make the pickaxe/what ever your faction uses to get plastic break sometimes, have the possibility of a tree falling on your, a cave in, or what ever the other faction does IDK.

any idea on when the server will be back up?

I only gained this information from the thread btw.

Never really played persay.

at least in drpg (if you would read the OP) you can build your own property and you can have a reward of grinding by getting better weapons/tools/armor.
this doesn't make grinding ok if you think it does

this doesn't make grinding ok if you think it does
zealot thought you couldnt build properties and didnt get rewards for grindings so i proved him wrong. didn't try to make grinding ok.

When you think about it, all games are about grinding.
It's about how well the developers hide the grind.

what is with the ignoring of all questions not related to bagging on grinding?

I've attempted to figure out when the server would be back quite a few times, still have no idea

the server will be back on when we finish the map. sorry about ignoring your questions.

we're making an entire new map and adding cool dungeons for player explorations.

if you want your account reset, PM me on rtb or send me a PM on the forums. no one's account will get reset unless they want it reset.

how do you grind in a game like thomas was alone

also on the grinding topic

obviously this gamemode is about grinding, I don't understand why people are in here complaining about it

If you don't like it just don't play it, you can't tell them to fix it because it's literally the core gameplay, if his server has 45 people and your 'well thought out, non grindy' server has 4, you're argument doesn't mean much, does it?

can someone explain to me why this is even being mentioned still?

ignoring a problem doesn't make it fixed and just because it's a big part of the game doesn't mean it's ok to leave it

drpg's strength isn't grinding, it's nations (and maybe also pretty GUI)

I'm just saying, if you don't like it, why not just play the server?

DRPG has always been based on grinding, it's literally the core gameplay

There's no way to progress via nations therefore the core gameplay is grinding

the issue is that the core gameplay is terrible. nations aren't a major gameplay element, but they're one of the best things about DRPG

and yeah you can just not play it but i never understood how people can defend anything by saying that

you're saying that since we aren't forced to deal with it we can't have an issue with it. we choose not to deal with it because we have an issue with it. otherwise, you're either a masochist, a 'hypocrite' (idk wat else 2 say), or you're there for something else
