the only problems I have w/ grinding pertain to the lvl requirements (srsly i cant chop down a yew like any other tree? do i have 2 spin around 5 times sing a little song and sit down so i can finally chop it too? ) and also its tedious monotone value, but hey grinding has a reward @ the end, it works similar to actual goals in real life, except that some of those goals are ridiculously ludicrous. to maintain grinding, it has to have some side activity to it for instance yo : i used to fish 4 lobs & swordfish at karjama in runescape back in 07 every saturday or w/e. it wasnt the money and lvls that kept me going, but the # of ppl there (tons) it felt like a cool fishing company, especially when we had camp fires going (which i usually supplied for a bump in cooking), it was as if we were the only players on the world, just fishing and cooking our days away. convos were hilarious and filled w/ tales, chat effects of ascii fish and all that junk, that was what migitated grinding. it has to not feel like grindng
