Author Topic: A small, and mainstream weapon pack. (HK416 and M14 Juggernaut comming soon!)  (Read 6548 times)

You are the reason why gun packs suck today.
Never use names like "L85A2, R5, and XCR". Not everyone knows what these are.
Including me.
would "AR: vz. 58" and "SMG: vz. 61", for instance, be fine then?

You can have 4 guns called Assault Rife can you? Also, it his pack, if he want it to be semi real that his chose. He do not a another T+T.

Do you read what you type before you post it?

But yeah, they should be more descriptive than "Assault Rifle", but not as far as "L85A2".

No it would not.

What does AR even mean? What do the numbers even represent?
All I can decern in that mash of letters and numbers is the suffix for Sub Machine Gun.
But even then whats with the 61? If it were just 60 would it so something different?

I still do not get why you guys are forceing it so much. If your not happy, then do not use it. For the people that the pack aimed at whould mostly know the weapons names since there all fairly common in most games now.

Keep up the awesome work!

I'm not sure if you are trolling or just simply not trying.

AR stands for assault rifle, the numbers can represent a number of things, the model year (AK-47 launched in 1947), the caliber (M9 uses 9mm), or even the year it entered service (vz. 61 entered service in 1961)

People don't just give them number for stuffs and giggles.

then why bother even trying to argue that using the names of real guns are misleading and counterintuitive if you're not even gonna cooperate on a simple level like the example i just posted
holy forget

Thanks. I did not know that. The numbers are still useless though. We don't need to know model year or caliber size. I also this that this doesn't apply to all guns though and because of that its still misleading. I don't want to have to memorize what gun suffix means what and in what situation.

Excuse me? Your example? All I saw you post was you being a complete handicap about the situation. The post above you was helpful, you were not.
Kindly go forget yourself.

I am now going to lock this topic.

Still going to update the pack now and then.

Mr.Noßody, try ignoring my work and what I do, next time.

Don't pay any attention to these useless forgettards, Keep modeling and updating, you're doing a great job.

Honestly, I don't get your guys' dumb mindset where you're all like "XCR? What the forget kind of handicapped name is that, the forget is it supposed to be? I don't know what this is and I refuse to find out and I refuse to use it wah wah I'm such a dense cunt"
You can act like that and look like a shriveled up little stuff, or you can do the following and not look like a shriveled up little stuff:
"XCR? What's that? (proceeds to google search...) oh, it's an assault rifle."

Using names like "ASSAULT RIFLE" and "SHOTGUN" only as names are both too bland and almost misleading if there are multiple types of these weapons in the game. Guys a quick google search wont tear off your richard and toss it into a paper shredder, I swear.

i'll just cut to a different point then
if you're willing to be this stupid and not to use your loving head and at least spawn the weapon in-game to see what it is then why bother trying to argue when the solution is literally that easy

mmm M14 Juggernaut
