Author Topic: Bots can paint bricks  (Read 1513 times)

for me, they try to but they dont actually have an effect
dont know why this is happening to you guys

Don't give them full trust.

So everyone who said they actually saw it happen is lying?

I'm not talking about the validity of people's statements, if it happens it happens. What I've been saying is that it doesn't seem like it would be a feature, since it is understandably inconvenient, so I thought, "Oh, well since it ain't default it must be some kind of problem". Am I bothering you, somehow?

By chance, does this have something to do with public bricks?

yes

Ah, that may be the root of it, then. Bots are allowed to affect public bricks. The reason I'd spoken about a mod being used earlier was because I was assuming that you guys had some kind of Add-on which turned your own bricks into public bricks or summat.  I suppose your best bet in this case may be to simply turn bot "spam" behavior off. The best solution would be to make bots completely unable to affect bricks in the "public" brickgroup. Sorry for not being clear about any of this.

The events for turning off bot spam behavior were mentioned by blueblur;
onBotSpawn > bot > setIdleBehavior > Spam_Off
I think that's it. The bot will no longer pull out tools or the paintcan. He will just stick to the tool he is set too.

And that's it. Sorry dude.
