Update your video drivers. Run the game with the launch option "-windowed".

right click on the game, click set launch options, enter "-sw -hX -wY" without quotes and replace the X with the height of your monitor in pixels and the Y with your monitor's width in pixels.

It just means dont use it if you dont know what you're doing, you can still use those by hitting ok. Just hit ok and give it a shot.
It should make it so when you launch, it launches in a window the size of your monitor.
