Author Topic: Is Game of Thrones good?  (Read 1285 times)

I've had a few people recommend it to me. I'm not sure if I'll be into it since I thought The Lord of the Rings was "okay."

Is it worth it?

You can't really compare LoTR to Games of thrones, lol.

That's what people have told me. I'm going on suggestions. Is it better?

you're talking about the tv show right? not the books?

Game of Thrones is loving A.
Daenerys and Arya are the babest of them all.

Only bad thing about GoT is the distribution. It has become the most pirated TV show because of it.

I would definitely recommend it.
The story is pretty compelling, with lots of interesting plot points and surprises.
The acting is usually top-notch with some big Hollywood and TV stars, including Sean Bean, Charles Dance and Jerome Flynn, but does have a lot of child-actors, who are pretty good, but are obviously learning to improve.

The detail in the series is very good. There's a lot of money spent on it and the sets, costumes, props and CGI are really nice. It does capture the themes it goes for very well.

Definitely give it a good look.
The first couple of episodes do partake in a regular HBO tradition of having plenty of tits and fanny in order to attract as many people as possible.
Nudity is present throughout, but it does tend to drop in scale after the first couple of episodes of each season.
S01Ep01 is tits-galore.

If you like the TV series then I definitely recommend reading the books.
They're very good and have some great character development/internal monologue which is sorely missed from the TV series. They're also equally thrilling and compelling.

If you want a show with lots of love and lots of richards, then GOT is the show for you!

It's fine, I guess.

anyone remember this
oh lel i saw that episode yesterday

Dude... Game of Thrones contains NSFW NUDITY! It's not an OK show to be watching unless your 21 or older. I've never seen it but honestly it looks like a Skyrim ripoff trying to get attention with nudity,

Although, I wouldn't be a good judge.
