Author Topic: Is 10th grade and AP classes hard?  (Read 3813 times)

American schooling is a joke.

I've gotten tired of getting an A just being something you are supposed to do. It's gotten way too easy.

I would rather work really hard and get a B but learned a ton, instead of getting an easy A for doing almost nothing.

People tend to forget that C is supposed to be average.

this isn't a good place to ask because schools classes are different, i know biology is for sophomores where i live and it's different with some friends i chat with.

so yeah, can't really answer that one bud.

10th is easy since theres not really any hard classes plus youve already gotten over how new highschool is

Fairly sure it's different over here in England, but I'm in 10th grade this year and it's easy af so far.

so far it's the easiest grade of my entire life

2nd grade was harder

Any kid that kills himself because work is too hard is stupid and I have no sympathy for. I don't understand people these days. I'm in 10th grade and I had a lot of trouble with my work in the beginning of the year, and I never said "WELP, TOO HARD Self Delete NOW.".

That's just my stance on that, please don't kill me.

It's not too hard.
not so hard that I wanna Self Delete, but...

It can be depending on what courses you are taking. I am currently in the 10th grade, and I think it's hard - but not as hard as last year. 11th grade is one of the hardest, and most important grades though. Things become much more serious in the 11th grade from what I know, and that grade counts the most toward college (same with 12th).

I have 10th graders in my class that always stress out and crys when they get their test back.

They most likely were goofing off and not studying.  Although schools/states differ, in my school I do all my hw and the teachers explain what is necessary.  Yeah, bad teachers, state requirements, and the school itself can make things worse though.

trig is gay and chem is hard but actually interesting
but ap world history is super gayest of them all

10th grade is easy.

it's 11th grade that's going to bust your balls.
This so much.

Depends on curriculum, work ethic, etc.

But as long as you don't take too many AP or Honors classes it's not too hard.

This is one of those questions you just can't ask. It's like asking "Does sushi tastes good"
There are so many different factors and so many different opinions that it's not going to really give you any idea at all of what it's like.
