Garry's mod crashes while I try to host a server

I'm having a problem with Gmod.
Now, when I try to host a server, the game crashes while it loads. It says that hl2.exe has stopped working and Gmod quits. However, I can join a server fine.

That was a different problem with Gmod.
Gmod would randomly crash in-game with no errors.

I had to validate files for all of my games since a lot of files on my computer corrupted for some reason and my games would be missing a lot of data, so try validating your files.

Just tried again, I can now host no problem.
