see the thing is the disease is actually incredibly medically intriguing, and the study of it can shake the idea of biologically aging, so stuff like this isn't at all funny tbh and you look like a gigantic tryhard right now

like yea you see kids like the tsimforgetis youtube guy (google him, he was the progeria-afflicted kid who made awful videos and was mocked by the internet) and laugh at his wigger youtube videos and go "wow that kid looks forgetin weird" but then you see a kid like Sam Berns, who was just promoting awareness of this disease and had parents who busted their balls trying to cure their kid, it's really hard to actually laugh at Sam Berns tbh
