How would it be an unfair advantage if everyone had access to it?
A better question: Is seeing how damaged another player is really a significant advantage?

For score based DMs, yes. I've seen other games where you can see player healthbars, and to win you pretty much have to take as many low health kills as possible.

It really all depends on the objective though.

Well like other games you cant see health at all or if you can its only percent based

Wrong, it is, but you cannot access it without using some hacky stuff.

more likely you'd need to have a server mod to let players use this anyway
