Author Topic: Causing Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Errors  (Read 2817 times)

i have this rarely, hopefully, but i get it when i turn shaders on under Wine :/
Wine isn't exactly configured to work with Blockland at it's best. I don't think they'll rectify an issue on something they don't support.

Hi, If anyone knows a consistent way to cause a server/client to crash (via console) with a "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error" ok box could they post the details in this thread please.

if you do post it he might think you done it before and ban you.
[/sarcasm]

OT: I've had this before but its usually a crapped on add-on

lagoom he means to cause yourself to crash

I know but that was sarcasam

while(true){} does it sometimes for me

I know but that was sarcasam

that's not even how that works

that's just an ill-conceived joke

I only got it using steam and quitting the game (Not on main menu, in game)

Shaders worked way better on Linux through Wine than on Windows on my previous graphics card, actually.

Yeah I know, it's ok because I can play without problems till I don't enable shaders

I didn't say that it doesn't work, I just said that the developers don't support Linux as of yet. Personal experience depends on specifications of the computer, type of distro, ect ect...

One time on BlockoBlocko's Super Murder Mystery, my Blockland FPS was steadily dropping and then I got a runtime error after 2-3 minutes.

I didn't run it under Wine.
