While the idea's fantastic, the ridiculously quick gameplay is far from entertaining. Very few people seem to actually be doing anything, yet I've yet to witness a round in which we haven't won in less than a minute. Which is concerning, considering that's the waiting period inbetween rounds.
Unless you want 50 zombies on round 1, I don't really know how to fix that.
The fact that the zombies aren't much of a threat to players is really what makes it a bit too boring.
I'm considering imposing a height limit on bricks, you guys should already have an upgradable total brick limit.
when you plant a brick on top of someone who doesn't trust you it still counts as placing a brick
also when people leave, their bricks stay but they're not public or anything so it makes it harder to expand defenses, which sucks

I'll consider trying to get the bricks to switch to the public ID after a player leaves, or a toggle to make it public regardless.
Very slow and boring gameplay. Not even sure what would fix that, more zombies I guess. Pretty lame that it's just a default gun and sword too.

They don't so that I don't have to deal with 50 people whining about how their builds were destroyed.

What about a boss round every 10 rounds to make things more interesting?

Do zombies actively try to get to the core, and if so how?
Perhaps you can spawn two types: core-seeking and player-seeking. Core-seeking look for the core and make progress for the zombies, while the player-seeking kind try to kill players to impede their progress.
They do actively try to, their spawn is 100 units underneath the core, and I have them returning to the spawn.
They should've been randomly seeking out players, but it doesn't seem to work on an internet server, only single player :/
