I would really enjoy mandatory military training. I wish they did that here in the US.

just join the military. it's not like you're going to be doing much.

I wish you luck, being in the military really is a life changing experience. I don't necessarily believe in a draft, but in smaller countries you need to have people contribute and help.

well actually it probably seems like they're using the older Rk 62s for training and in service they give them the modernized Rk 76 or 95

that's kind of like how canada (i think) used the decommissioned Ross rifle for training and then tried to give most troops Lee-Enfields in WWI

4 year enlistments are a thing

if nothing else just join the national guard
I'm considering it after high school if I don't get into a decent college right away.

That thing exploded and killed a bunch of us in battle hue.

But it was accurate c:

Also I guess on the upside of the military service is you get to mess with some military stuff too.

Do you get to drive a tank? :O

one advantage of living in the us is the lack of this or a draft
you're aware of the vietnam war right

thats what canada is for :cookieMonster:
AFAIK if you move to another place during a draft you won't be allowed to come back in due to desertion

but if you move before the draft, you're good

the us dosnt need to draft because they put on a huge campaign of honor and benefits that sell on kids, making them actually want to join.
lies about serving the country, keeping us safe even if we actually already are.

commercials show the enlisted as badass warriors who get high fives from random people on the street and get all these cool medals and ceremonies for everything they do. a fancy funeral in a fancy lot and you will be honored for 100s of years.

its all complete bullstuff and meaningless. but how else can they trick people into actually joining lol.
american military sells a facade of great meaning, so they dont have to force anyone right now.

Second post: postpone this adds yet described his studies continued for another 18 months for longer period of

Ontopic: you have four three choices

#1. be very unlucky and a war starts and you are called in and you die in battle continue service

#2. be hurt badly

#3. Move to a country with out mandatory service

#4. Kill yourself (NOT RECOMENDED)

the finnish army teaches their soldiers extremely effective combat tactics, most of which involve calling the US in to help whenever things go tits up

The forget kinda pusillanimous individual does that, lol?
