Board of Governors

Although from it's roots it's a nation RP, it's not what you think. You all, as a board of governors or whatever have to work together. You will have to agree on certain issues that I will give you, and you can do what your group thinks is the right thing to do. Your actions will influence the future of the growing civilization. You can say that this is a combination of a forum adventure and a nation RP.
Rules:
An action that
purposely kills a large fraction of your population will
usually not be accepted.
You have to
work together to control what happens in your nation. Conduct votes on what to do.
Misunderstandings of how reality works
will be tolerated. Depending on the situation, I will allow the action anyway or do something close to that action, or even do what you actually meant.
You don't want this to happen? Correct each other! It's up to your group to regulate!More might be added as this goes on.
Note: I will try to give you guys the most freedom I can. Just don't go crazy.
And so it begins!
Year: 2100Notices:2040: As pollution and population issues increase, corruption in the world governments increase.
2050: Almost every government destabilizes.
2056: The NAE (National Alliances of Earth) was formed to try to keep the peace and stabilize the remaining governments it can.
2058: Advances in atmospheric stablization is made.
2067: An "Atmospheric Stabilizing Tower" finished completion and is converting the atmosphere back into living conditions
2092: The atmosphere of Earth is fully clean. Only trace pollutants exist at this point.
2095: Citizens become more fearful of their own planet. They want to be able to live in space so that whatever planetary dangers wont harm them.
2097: Preparations for a possible space agency is being made.
2100: Topic started.
2100: The NAE (National Alliance of Earth) has decided to give you guys a chance to become part of the government, however they will keep an eye on you to make sure you don't screw things up.

Current issues:Poverty and homelessness is a slight problem in the capital city.
The NSSR is getting somewhat aggressive and seems to be ignoring the demilitarized zone.
Islam wants to open trade negotiations.
